During child focused mediations, we support parents to make decisions regarding matters such as where the children will live, how they will spend time with each of you, holidays, special days and how you share your parental responsibilities in the future. We can also help if there are no current arrangements for your children to see you.
If you are experiencing challenges with your former partner about how you co-parent, then mediation can provide you both with the opportunity to discuss and resolve the issues in a calm and neutral space with the support of an impartial professional. Again, we do not tell parents what to do but we may share options that have worked well for other families in similar situations.
We can also offer mediation between parents and grandparents as well as parents and special guardians.
We will provide you both with a written summary of the agreements you have made in mediation. Mediations typically last for 1.5 hours and you may need one or more sessions.
"I would thoroughly recommend North Devon Mediation as a service. They helped me and my ex partner focus on building a good parenting relationship after what was a very difficult separation. Our kids have noticed a difference too and seem happier!...Thank you so much" E.G - Barnstaple
